Dr Carol Clark, PhD is a full member of The Australian Psychological Society and a full member of The College of Clinical Psychologists.
Dr Clark is a registered psychologist with National Registration PSY 0001394886 and Aranda Psychology Clinic is a private pratice (ABN 68 353 639 472).
Carol's leisure interests are in handweaving cloth on an 8 shaft hand loom (interweaving colour and texture - just like families), gardening, music lessons on the piano and flute, reading and travel for music events.

Carol was originally university trained as a research chemist/scientist and educator (Master's level in Education).
With her strong interest in science and mental health, Carol retrained as a clinical psychologist at Macquarie Univerity in Sydney and the University of Newcastle. She worked with the Healthy Lifestyle program in it's earliest days of community health education in Sydney.
Carol completed her doctorate in Psychology from The University of Newcastle in 1993 with a thesis on "Patterns of Relational Control - the Communications of Popular, Normally Accepted and Rejected Children".
Working with Community Health in NSW (1989-1995), Carol taught Parent Courses and treated children and adolescents who needed therapy for many issues -- learning difficulties, school refusal, trauma from life events and/or family problems, adolescent developmental needs for strengthened identity, and mental health issues of anxiety problems and depressions.
Carol worked with the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Teams in Canberra and Queanbeyan from 1995-2002. She now works at her Aranda Psychology Clinic with children and adolescents in therapy, and with parents in Educational and supportive ways.
Carol continues to attend Professional Development training each year in Clincal Psychology. She has a special interest in Brain Development and neuropsychology and its application to better Educational outcomes for children and adolescents.
Also she is trained in modern psychoanalytic therapy - Self Psychology and has a Diploma in Adult Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy.
Carol has a Certificates in Art Therapy and Cognitive Behaviour Therapy for Children and Adolescents.
